Naga Metropolitan Cathedral

IMG_20181011_165341.jpgNaga metropolitan cathedral is a Roman catholic church here in Naga City. It is located at Elias Angeles St. Naga City. It is also one of the major churches here in Naga aside from Basilica and Penafrancia church. It houses the image of Nuestra Sra. De Penafrancia during the 9 days of novena in penafrancia festival. Many devotees from outside the country visit this place.

The mass schedule here at naga cathedral:

Saturdays (Misa Antisipada)                       4:30pm (bikol)                                               6:00pm (english)

The metropolitan cathedral is a perfect place for reflecting because of its ambiance. Beside cathedral is the missionary and the museum. And around the place we can see the 14 mysteries of Jesus. This place is so serene and also a perfect place for wedding ceremony because of its perfect isle.

When im visiting cathedral and walking downthe isles I really imagined how beautiful and elegant my weding will be in the future.

Hibiscus Camp

Why go to the north when you can experience the cold breeze of baguio just here in Camarines sur. I can say that partido area is very rich in tourists destination. Ocampo Cam. Sur has its little baguio. It is located right at the top of Consocep mountain.

Hibiscus camp is a private owned place but the owner make it public but before you can enter the place you need to pay first 100 pesos for the entrance fee. In there, you’ll enjoy the cold mountain breeze as well as its breath- taking sceneries. There is a small cabin and also a cottage

How to get there:

1. Take the bus from naga to hanawan ocampo (Costs P35-45 for bus fare)

2. You can ride a habal-habal ( but the price still depends on the driver but when we go there we pay only P50.00

this place is so beautiful and I hope that people visiting here would be responsible tourists. Uphold the principles of ecotourism: “take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but foot print. Kill nothing but time” as you get there enjoy the beautiful scenery. Mind you guys it’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy and reflect.

Coffee Project

Coffee cultivation and trade starts at the Arabian peninsula by the 15th century and up until now people are still fund of buying coffee and there are so many stores that are selling differnt coffee products.

Coffee project is one of those stores which sells coffee products like; cafe americano, café Latte, cappuccino, vietnamese Latte, cafe Mocha, White mocha, Caramel Latte, Coffee indochine, brewed coffee, cold brew, and Ca Phe Sua Da. It can also be hot or cold and there are also sizes like tall which costs 120 and for grande- 135 and above but it still depends on your order. There are also espresso Shots like Macchiato and espresso.

Frappes is also available with different flavors like Mocha, cappuccino, Coffee créme brulée, cookie  Crumble, Coffee Butterscotch  Vietnamese Coffee Jelly, Caramel Coffee Jelly.

Because of these coffee products, Coffee Project becomes bigger and wider thats why there are so many branches here in the philippines and Naga is one of those places which was given to have a previlage to taste their delicious coffee products.

Telegrafo beach

Philippines has so many tourist destination more specifically at Bicol. Region V has

5 provinces  it includes Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Masbate, Sorsogon. We also have 4 Cities; Naga City, Iriga City, and Masbate city. But my first tourist destination is in San Jose, Telegrafo Camarines Sur (Partido Area) . They have a beautiful scenery which is the beach. They say that this beach is connected to Sagnay, and also the beautiful island with white sand- atulatan Island, and also the popular beach patitinan Island.

April 27,2018 is the feast of barangay Telegrafo. And We’ve invited by my aunt to join their celebration and My mon imediately granted her invitation.  Upon going to that place with my family and relatives, we traveled from naga going to san Jose cam Sur for almost 2 and a half hours. We dont have our own service thats why we’ve just commute. The regular fare per person is 120 and then there are also 20% discount if you are a student, person with disabilities and or senior citizen. Luckily Im still a student and I have my Identification Card to prove it that’s why I’ve paid only 80 pesos.

As we experience a long travel,  I’ve seen so many beautiful scenery like the Mt. Isarog, they say Mt Isarog is one of the volcanoes that is not active and they also say that if Mt. Isarog will erupt the thing that it produce is not lava or magma but water. I cant imagine that a volcano will erupt with water because I usually see a fire or a lava in most of the volcanoes like Mt. Mayon and etc. I’ve also seen the trend that along the way from naga to Partido there are still many tourist spots. Like in Ocampo they have consosep, hibiscus farm and resort, deer farm and also strawbery farm. I wish I can visit it as soon as possible.

After the oh soooo long ride, we’ve finally reached the town of San Jose, Partido Cam. Sur. We stoped Infront of church and after we pray and take a look inside the church we’ve ride a tricycle which cost 10 pesos per person. There are also a motorcycle or they called it “habalhabal” but they say it cost 25 pesos per ride and only 2 person can ride it.

As we’ve reached my aunt’s house, she welcomed us and tour us around their house. Near their house there’s a sea. The sound of the waves that’s splashing in the sea side is very calming. The waves is like dancing with the air. And the air is very refreshing that when you close your eyes you can feel serene. Im so very amazed with the beauty of the oceans. Im very amazed with the scene that I’ve see. When I look at it, it feels like the ocean is calling me. It feels like it is calling ne to go and swim with it. To dance with the waves and the music will be the sound of the water who is splashing near the seaside. This place is the ideal place to relax and just feel the vibes. And the thing that makes me more amaze is that the people whose living near here are caring about their environment because if you go here you cant see no plastics or even trash around or near the se side. You can still see the virginity of the island.
